Jens Bauditz was born in Dresden and graduated in 2011 with a diploma in choir conducting at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin under Prof. Jörg-Peter Weigle. Two years before he finished his studies as an opera singer under Stephan Rügamer as well as a degree in vocal arts with a diploma. He received his first musical education as a member of the Kreuzchor in Dresden. Already in his young years he sang solo parts as a boy alto at the Komische Oper Berlin, the Staatstheater Cottbus and the Semperoper Dresden. He gained his first experience at choir conducting as the first "Präfekt" of the Dresden Kreuzchor. In 2002 he received the 10th Rudolf Mauersberger Stipendium to help him further his musical talent. Since January 2012 he is the choir master of the "Neuer Knabenchor Hamburg", a choir school at the public youth music school of Hamburg with more than 100 singers. His work as choir master is varied and extensive. He has led the male choir "arcanum musicae", which consists of alumni members of the Dresden Kreuzchor since its foundation in 1998. As well as regular concerts in Germany, the choir has performed in USA, as well as Poland, France and Switzerland. Excerpts from the concerts have been broadcast, amongst others, by Radio MDR Figaro. He has been the choir master of the chamber choir "cantamus berlin" since 2007. In 2009 he also became the choir master of the "Claudius-Ensemble" in Potsdam. From 2007-2010 he was an assistant to the symphony choir of the "Potsdamer Singakademie e.V.". In 2010 Jens Bauditz was given a position at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" as the choir master of the Musikgymnasium "Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach" in Berlin. In masterclasses he has worked among others with the Hilliard-Ensemble, Frieder Bernius, Denis Rouger, Søren Kinch Hansen and Stefan Parkman.
